Unsolicited email (spam)
I hate it, and I fight it. It is legal, but it is not ethical, and most Internet service providers prohibit spam. I am a writer. I write very persuasive spam complaints. Your connectivity will be at risk if you spam me. I fight spammers because it is the right thing to do.
Unsolicited faxes
These are illegal under federal law. I turn them over to an outfit that looks for ways to take legal action against the senders. Be prepared to be abused if you send me unsolicited faxes.
Unsolicited phone calls
Every call to my cell phone costs me money. I am not required to pay for your advertising. Such calls violate federal law.
