Home-based Freelance Work
Front Room Enterprises is a home-based freelance writing and website content business run from a comfortable front room just a little northwest of Austin, TX.
The owner/author is still very much involved with a day job and is in no particular hurry to begin relying solely on the home business as a primary source of income. But building a successful business is a constant focus, and there is progress every week. The writing and web content business activities will come along in their own time, and the pace of the day job will continue to determine the pace of the home business for some time to come.
The primary thrust of the business today is to build a solid foundation and gain additional experience in several disciplines: non-fiction writing, writing web content, web design, website promotion, etc. All good things in their own time.

The 2009 Deist Calendar. This is the second year I have created a free calendar for the Deist community. This year's version is in full color. And it is free, of course.
I have completed my modernization of Ethan Allen's Reason, the Only Oracle of Man. Nearly two years in the making, the Oracles represents an important work in the young American Deist movement around the time of the revolution. The message in Oracles should make it as popular as Age of Reason, except for Allen's writing style. Read it here!
Recent Efforts
Basically all my energy has gone towards the modernization of Ethan Allen's book, but another project is on the horizon. I have organized a team of Deist writers to create The Contemporary Deism Project. We hope to publish a collection of Deist essays later this year. This will be a must-read for Modern Deists. More news coming soon.
